Unclaimed Preference Shares

Over 17,000 former members of Birmingham Midshires Building Society are still entitled to a cash entitlement resulting from the sale of their free Halifax Preference Shares in 2002.

Former members who think they may have qualified but have yet to claim their entitlement need do nothing at this time. Birmingham Midshires has identified each former member that may potentially qualify and will be contacting them between June 2007 and September 2007.
