The Mayor starts the marathon cycle event

A big ‘THANK YOU’ and ‘WELL DONE’ to everyone that took part and made this years event a success, despite the weather conditions.

In the next few weeks we will know a final figure for how much money we have raised for this years beneficiary Charities:

Mencap Wolverhampton & Mencap in the Midlands
Mayoral Charity Fund
Children’s Outpatients Department – New Cross Hospital
Brain Tumour UK

The charity cheque presentation will be held at the Mayors Parlour in December.

The date for the 2009 event is set for :
