Getting copies of your deeds

If you need proof of ownership we can issue a letter for you. This information is taken from the information provided to us by your solicitor when your mortgage was completed. There is no charge for this service.

Deeds packets can contain a large variety of documents from Title Documents, Insurance Policies, NHBC Certificates, Damp Proof Certificates and Searches. In fact, anything your solicitor chose to include in the packet when he sent them in to us.

If you need a copy of your title documents we will gladly copy all of the documents for you. For this we charge an administration fee of £60.

If you know which documents you need a copy of we can copy this for you. We charge an administration fee of £20 per document, up to a maximum of £60.

If your account was completed after 1st May 2000, we do not hold any documents relating to the security. Your solicitor was instructed to register your ownership with the Land Registry and inform us when this had been done. The solicitor will only send in certain documentation to us prior to completion, and return the remainder of the packet to you.


Our tracker rate mortgages are linked to Bank of England base rate (also know as Bank of England repo rate). Details of this rate can be found on the Bank of England website or in the Financial Times or other leading newspapers.
