Am I protected against fraud if someone accesses my account over the Internet?

you'll not be held responsible for any instructions or information sent after you've told us that someone knows your password or additional security details, provided that you've not acted fraudulently or with gross negligence. Failure to keep your password, identity information and additional security information secret may be considered grossly negligent.

I'm suspicious about a transaction on my account - what should I do?

If you're ever concerned about any suspicious activity on your account, you must contact us as soon as possible. Please call the Internet Savings Team on 0845 850 0059* for assistance. Lines are open 8am - 8pm Monday - Saturday.

How will I be informed if the interest rate changes?

If there is an interest rate change we'll inform you by letter within 30 days of the change. We'll also display the information on the website.

Can I email enquiries to you?

We're happy to receive and respond to e-mail queries. However, as e-mail is not absolutely secure, We'll not be able to include any information specific to your account. This will need to be sent to you in writing.

What is your complaints procedure?

We take complaints very seriously. You can find details on our complaints procedure by clicking here.

Calls may be monitored and recorded for security and training purposes. 0845 numbers may not be available outside the UK. Calls to 0845 numbers from BT landlines will cost a maximum of 4p per minute, plus a 6p call set up fee. The price of calls from other telephone companies will vary. The call price is correct at today's date. Lines are open between 8.00am and 8.00pm, Monday to Saturday.
